The treatment of Omar Khadr and the tasering death of the young Native kid in Peg are two sides of the same coin: the racist brutality exhibited by the police and military toward Canadians who are not white. It is sickening. It might be time to abolish the military and take tasers and guns away from police. Too many young men are dying and/or being tortured by racists in uniform.

More importantly: Bring Khadr home. You just know some nutcase is going to kill him the first chance he gets. Omar Khadr can not stay in his comfortable little home for long. Sooner or later he has to step into public.
