I am much more in favour of free speech then shutting down forums even with left wing nutters like tweety. It's nicer that they expose themselves as intolerants and that they hate debate of any kind and it's interesting what types of country's that they align themselves with. Tweety calls the Taliban freedom fighters and calls U.S.terrorist. Tweety's hero list includes Hugo Chavez -Mahmoud Ahmadinejad-Castro-Saddam Hussein--Canadian first family of terrorism the Kadars. Tweety supports despots ,dictators and terrorist and how can serious logical minds agree with that.

Rather than spending time attacking Tweetypie who is one of the few NON-racists here and IMO one of the more compassionate Canadians (we need more like him to defeat racism), rightwingers should ask themselves a simple question: Would you be more inclined to protect Omar Khadr's constitutional rights as a Canadian born citizen if he were a blond haired blue eyed White Anglo Saxon Protestant? If the answer is "Yes" (and I suspect, like Mr. Elmasry, that it is) then we in this country have a serious problem because it proves that the scourge of institutional White racism and White privilege continues to plague our society from coast to coast to coast. Once again, I am ashamed to be Canadian.

To those posters who have actually "read, acknowledge, and put into practice" the Privacy Policy of Canoe News, i.e. not using other posters' handles/names, slander, defamation, etc. thank you. Now, what we have to do is ensure that terrorists, such as this Khadr family are kept in check (we are stuck with them? good grief) and that Omar Khadr does not get back into Khadr. I do not have to answer to such insulting, biased statements as Tweetypie who has no authority and very little, if any, scrutiny. The insults, insinuations, threats (using other people at their leisure across Canada to "physically" assault and target me, proven more than once) will fly. Tweetypie is a bully, cyber-bully, and malfeasant not to put their (his/her) real name in full as a signatory. That is how I am able to send anything I post to the House of Commons to the Minister responsible of a topic being discussed or "slandered." If Tweetypie has a problem, please contact Hon. Rob Nicholson, Attorney General of Canada and/or the RCMP.
