An american medic was killed by a grenade.
That Grenade was thrown by someone from the Taliban side. The side Khadr, the Canadian was trained by and fighting for and with at the time of the battle. You don't have to actually throw the grenade to be guilty of murder. there are witnesses who say lots of things. A US court is going to try the Canadian young offender as an adult for murder. Not an uncommon practice. His lawyer wants it done in Canada and is stalling. Being a canadian he is unlawfully in this war zone fighting, thats what makes it criminal. If he wasn't canadian he would just be held as a POW. But since he has claimed he is canadian and wants to be treated as one, he is no longer a POW and is now just a criminal.
