And that is to let him come back to his home, Canada. When the States decide they dont want him anymore, Harper and CONS cant stop him from coming back to Canada if that is what he chooses.

I know one thing, families like Khadr's EXPECT that their progeny will follow their agenda. They have USED Canada as a safe haven. Khadr's father was wounded in a firefight before he was finally killed in the same firefight his other son was paralyzed. When Khadr's father was wounded he returned to Canada for R&R. His son was returned and we are still supporting him. We are being used, and if YOU want to feel guilty about that, fine. I will compliment you for having a big heart, but warn you that THAT is seen by people like the Khadrs as a WEAKNESS they will exploit.

It came out of the meeting with the US. Khadr is being tried as a murderer. Nothing to do with war. He is a criminal. If we bring home all canadians being tried or even convicted of criminal activity in all countries then watch the floodgates. Why should this scum have any different treatment than any other murderer being tried in the US.
