Do people protest too much?
And if I did say I was a vegetarian, you would say I am a liar, so what would be the point of answering your silly question?

"Is the Seal Hunt Cruel?
Yes. In 2001, a report by an independent team of veterinarians who studied the hunt concluded that governmental regulations regarding humane killing were neither being respected nor enforced, and that the seal hunt failed to comply with Canada's basic animal welfare standards. Shockingly, the veterinarians found that in 42 percent of the cases they studied, the seals had likely been skinned alive while conscious.
Parliamentarians, journalists, and scientists who observe Canada's commercial seal hunt each year continue to report unacceptable levels of cruelty, including sealers dragging conscious seals across the ice floes with boat hooks, shooting seals and leaving them to suffer in agony, stockpiling dead and dying animals, and even skinning seals alive."
Like I said, it is widely known right wingers support cruelty to animals.Just look at Alberta how they dump puppies in dumps hungry and cold

"I do. It breaks my heart when I see them die a slow death on a boat or have their heads smashed "
Umm the EU fisheries industry does this all the time, no complaint from you. Thanks twitless I won again.

IF YOU DON'T ANSWER THIS QUESTION ANYTHING ELSE YOU POST IN THIS THREAD IS MEANINGLESS.

"who cares about fish"
I do. It breaks my heart when I see them die a slow death on a boat or have their heads smashed
paul correctly says..
"people in Canada especially in Atlantic Canada have no love for the EU."
Well of course they dont. They ( EU)realize how barbaric the annual seal hunt and has made it harder for them(EASTENERS) to make money from cruelty to animals

"But right wingers still believe in animal cruelty and hate people who support ending cruelty to animals"
I asked for PROOF and you just repeat yourself. This means you are wrong old hag.
twitless didn't lie I throw this back at you
""The Inuit do not skin the animal alive so you lied."
No one said they do "
tweetypie, 2010-01-27 09:06:26
"And to CONpare skinning an animal alive so some bimbo can wear a coat to a whale eating a seal is a little silly. Actually it is a lot silly "
So yes you did accuse the Inuit of skinning animals alive, boy you make it easy to divulge your lies.
Let you in on a little secret old hag, people in Canada especially in Atlantic Canada have no love for the EU. The seal hunt row caused by the EU was a front to their overfishing off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. They continually and flagrantly break international law crossing into Canadian waters and fishing for species which are on the brink of being wiped out. You twitless old hag fell for the oldest ruse in the book, use sensationalism to cover up your own illicit activities.
So twitless who cares about fish right, they just aren't cute enough to save?

No one said they do
"This is the news that conservation groups and animal rights groups have been waiting for. The European Parliament has overwhelmingly approved the European Seal Bill which bans all imports of seal products into Europe. 550 votes were for the ban with only 49 against it. It is now illegal to import seal products within the European Union.
This is a most devastating blow to the seal hunt. Seal pelts are worth next to nothing at $14 Canadian which is less than half of their value last year.
The 2009 sealing season is nearly over and only 59 500 seal pelts were taken out of a quota of 280 000. Most sealers stayed home as the profit margins were too small. (The Seal hunt officially ends May 15th, 09)
With the ban prices in 2010 will crash even further.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to ending this barbaric hunt. From letter writing, to protesting, to conservation groups such as The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, to IFAW, and the Animal Liberation Front. Together we have devastated this cruel industry..
If we keep applying pressure together we can end this once and for all.
"Seals are normally clubbed to death. If still alive, once a seal is clubbed it is skinned alive."
But right wingers still believe in animal cruelty and hate people who support ending cruelty to animals

""And to CONpare skinning an animal alive so some bimbo can wear a coat to a whale eating a seal is a little silly. Actually it is a lot silly "
The Inuit do not skin the animal alive so you lied. Are you telling everyone especially the Inuit they have no right to hunt seals for food and use the pelts to make money to make it through the winter.
So twitless I ask is it ok for the Inuit to hunt seals for food and then sell their pelts to help their families?

I agree Jay and the way PETA keeps progressing it is only a matter of time till they use violence to get their message through.

I wonder how much trouble the minister would been in had she punched her square in the face. I'd have loved to see that. You force feed me a pie, I'll force feed you my fist.
