I think she is let off too easy. The death penalty should come back. Especially when she has confessed that way there is no mistake about having the wrong person in jail

what a tragedy, my heart felt sympathy goes out to the family, and their little daughter that was victimized by this event. how many does it take before the law is changed to severely punish people that do this to other human beings? we all know if this had been a daughter of a judge on the supreme court, things would be different, and very quickly. the 20 year old who murdered this little angel hopefully wont get any special treatment in prison, as they have little tolerance for these types of offenders, so her day is coming i'm sure. cases like this make me ill, and i think adequate punishment would be to turn her over to the family for 20 minutes, give them a hammer and see what happens...

As a parent every time I think of the death of Victoria Stafford it brings sadness to my heart. When I think of how the perpetrators of this heinous act are treated better the victims it drives me to rage. When are we going to get rid of Trudeaupia and return this nation to common sense. Real dialogue and discussion of the death penalty and more serious sentencing should be an action item right away. Be clear this beautiful child was killed with a hammer, if that doesn't wake you up what will?

McClintic will just say she was "forced" to do it just like the sub-human Homolka monster. And just like that piece of fecal bacteria, Homolka, she will get a sweetheart deal. And just like that scum-licking pig, Homolka, who should have been killed - which would be showing it more mercy than it showed the children it murdered, and much more than it deserves - this McClintic broad will get away with murder. Just like Homolka did.

Bleeding heart scumbags who protect scum-sucking pigs, like Homolka, should be severally liable for their ignorance. Every time a child is abuducted so they can be raped, tortured, murdered, etc, etc, like McClintic has been seen on camera to have done, the judges that let Homolka get away with murder - despite public outcry - should spend a couple of years in jail themselves. Because if the lawyers and judges didn't let the get away with murder, literally, there might be a decline in similar crimes. If these sub-human freaks see that the punishment is decisive and nearly as horrible as the crimes themselves they might not do it in the first place.

The people who should be held accountable for Tori's abduction and murder should include the people who set the precedent with Homolka.

By using the "I had a rough childhood" or "a horrible man made me do it" defence we are saying Hitler wasn't guilty of genocide because his mommy didn't hug him. Is that what we're saying?

If McClintic is guilty there is no reason she should ever see the light of day again. No prison parties, no taxpayer funded degrees, ,no high priced police protection, no Elizabeth Fry bailout. A dank cell with no hope. Ever. It's more than she deserves. Killing children crosses a line that no one should ever be allowed to return from.

As a bereaved parent, I do not want to make this about any other agenda than the loss of Tori or the grief of her family. Your journey will be a difficult one and may you find the support and love from others to be some solace to help you through this tragedy. Those of us who have lost children know what you are facing. Bless you. Your daughter brought more to this world in her short life than can ever be taken from you.

Interesting to see that soooo many people agree these monsters deserve the death penalty or torture of some kind, yet our judicial system is so lax... LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE, AND MAYBE CRIME WILL DIMINISH IF THE PENALTY IS SEVERE....

Something to think about.

Children are our most precious resource.. treat them with care and punish those who harm a child.

I never knew Tori but think of her every day. This story is unthinkable & horrific. I can't imagine the pain and suffering Tori's family has endured. It will never go away. Tori, we all love you.

I don't believe for a minute that McClintic didn't know Tori. I believe that there was more to this than she confessed to. She said she didn't wake up that morning thinking I am going to take a child. Terri Lynne McClintic knew Tori's mom and it is believed there may have been some drug deals between them. If McClintic admitted to specifically targetting Tori, then she probably would have a hard time getting parole in 15 years. Her story is not the full truth. That is my humble and sincere opinion.

This is one of the worst cases I have ever read about. Bernardo and Homolka are just as sick and perverted, however this child was soooo young, and so innoscent (as are all children). This monster had a bad childhood so what - that's no excuse for what she did.... abuse, drugs, alcoholism - yes it is sad, but she should have been human enough to realize that we cannot treat life so frivolously. A child is not a play thing or a sex toy. There is no excuse for what she did. And her accomplice, I hope he is treated more harshly than she is..... solitary confinement (like Bernardo), never to see the light of day - and know he will rot in prison forever.

this story brings a flood of emotion to any feeling, worthwhile human being.

The one question that keeps going thru my head with no logical answer is...What a sick, perverted mind someone must have to look at any innocent, trusting child with all the beauty and promise life could have for them, and have the audacity to harm them never mind take their lives.

Whatever you believe in, this action is unforgiveable.

Monsters, of the lowest life form is what they are and should be treated as such..

Since they place no value on a child's life, I do hope they run across one of their own kind in a secluded area, and the results are as brutal and monsterous to them as the revolting action they inflicted on tori...I truely hope there is a heaven for this little girl.
