A corrupt Banana Republic..say it ain't so!

El Presidente wins an election, does his term and doesn't want to leave?? So he tries to break the law(constitution) so they oust him...what's the problem? he knew it when he came in, perhaps he should have groomed a replacement.

Hmmm let's see a Leader breaks the law to feed his own ego and retain power at any cost hmmm where or where have we seen this before??? El Presidente Minoria Harpo and his Harperistas...perhaps we should have ousted him with pour military...oh yeah their all in Afghanistan, its just the fat ones left in Ottawa!

Did the centre of the universe have a garbage strike? Geez and I thought it was their regular stench!

You deserve what you get, a simple Mayor with no balls!

Deputy mayor Pantalone said each side in a negotiating session makes trade-offs.Perhaps he could tell us just ONE trade-off that the Hogtown taxpayers got.JUST A SINGLE ONE.
Brigand, 2009-08-02 11:29:15

One can only hope that the private sector taxpayers in Hogtown are angry enough to tie a tin can to Mayor Miller's tail in the next municipal election for his so-called victory.Victory for who??? The over paid vastly, underworked snivel servants, thats who !!!!!!!

We can smell Toronto all the way out here in Northwestern Ontario. Smells the same as it always has. ha ha.

Not the Daddy

Peta might be reading this, they would not aprove of the rodent bear exchange.

I do think though having Lots of Bears roaming the streets at night eating garbage could also keep the streets safer. Keep more people indoors, but then I can see the headlines and covershot on the paper, Homeless man wrestles Black bear for partialy eaten Big Mac.

So now we have an agreement in place but the union is balking at the vote until it gets a sweet deal on overtime to clean up the mess their strike has caused? These people are the ones who used the garbage mess as a bargaining chip to extract what they wanted (like banking sick days...WTF???). Hey, wake up people, you got what you wanted, now deal with your bargaining chip on your own nickle.

It's now time for Toronto to get tough, bring in a contract crew to clean up the mess and let these union people know that if they don't want to vote on the deal in place today, that constitutes a refusal to do your job and you will be fired and replaced. Certainly there are enough unemployed poeple around to fill these union jobs in about 2 hrs.

Ronald Regan did it right...fire the works and hire and complete brand new crew.

Janeque, 2009-07-28 23:17:21 We will take the bears but only if you take the vermin, which includes the mayor and the rodents.

Wow, lots of errors on Canoe, lately. The "cannot connect to mysql" Twitless mistakes for a personal message that means IT can't connect to the hamster and 11 squirrels frolicking in its noggin. Twitless thinks "mysql" is an abbreviation for "my squirrels".
Not_the_Daddy, 2009-07-29 08:50:35

The Twitless, one bray donkey posted: "How come Canadian soldiers have not been removing garbage from Toronto?"

I think IT meant "Why" but in any case that is not their J.O.B. but if it were I think they should first remove the garbage from B.C. A good start would be tossing Twitless into the nearest bin.
