If all you lying useless silly Con-voters think that the Liberals did bad things in the past 10 or 15 years, just wait until you read and see all the bad things that the Hitler-Harper-Cons have done in only about 3 years.

You Cons can start by reading the disastrous Fraser`s report by the A.G. of Canada that just came out.

You bunch of lying Con-Lemon-Heads are so moronic.

Your useless and your lying Haper-Con diasability Liberal(Liberal this and Liberal that B.S.) clauses,... will get you no-where with A.G. of Canada.

Remember SARS?

Our beloved media needs something to scare you.

Not one bit! If you care more about your car and other possessions other than your body then you should be worried!

Quite frankely, NO. The thing that really bothers me is the anti bacterial this and that. Using this stuff has made it so that we can not naturally build up our immune systems. We need to stop over cleaning and get back to just regular soap and water!

I actually think that Chretien did show much leadership, rightly, wrongly or otherwise. And believe me I am/was no fan of the guy. There was no doubting who was in charge or where the decisions were made. But to the point, what use is there in finger pointing at this stage. This is what the Lib's live for. They are very quick to point the finger and tell everyone who is to blame for the bad things that happen to them. For Iggy to stand up and grand stand on this was just plain dumb. Big deal. I figure that unless you can offer something constructive, sit down shut up and don't create more problems, another Lib speciality.

‘’Now let's hear more wailing about how Martin WAS responsible for everything that happened under him (even if he didn't know about it like the sponsorship program) but Harpo ISN'T responsible for anything that happens under his watch, like health care. The double standards of the Con supporters are ridiculous’’ Rick W

First, what does it say about one’s leadership ability when you can be finance minister then PM and not notice a little thing like the ADSCAM issue? (‘incompetence’ comes to mind, ‘Grounds for dismissal’ comes to mind, ‘scam artist’ comes to mind, or maybe he was just a ‘toady’?)

Actually, most reasonable people will agree that Harper is in fact responsible for what happens under his watch, I know I do (which why I keep going on about accountability in our government).

But I seem to recall a little incident that happened under Chretien’s watch called SARS.

Now I don’t BLAME Cretin and his Libs for SARS, but I DO blame them for having led our country’s health care system to a point that we couldn’t deal effectively with the ‘crisis’ without a lot of confusion and finger pointing. (HMMMM, just like what’s happening now).

I ALSO blame them for leading the country from that point forward without still having learned from their past mistakes.

Let’s not forget that Cretin and his trained puppy, Martin, led MAJORITY governments and could actually have done something about being ready for any future incidents, but got themselves embroiled in scandals and frauds that then diverted their attention to the survival of the Liberal party, rather than the survival of future tax paying citizens in the event of a future pandemic.

Now, the Liberals spend all their time trying to engineer a new election (Not too vociferously though because they are afraid of the results) and pointing fingers in the hope that we will forget that they were the ones that actually had a chance to mitigate this sort of ‘crisis’ (which all the experts said was ‘only a matter of time’).

So , yes, Harper is responsible for what happens under his watch, and I will blame him for poor leadership or for incompetence as this develops. I will also lay the blame at his feet if or when he gets a majority government with the power and tools to avoid this scenario in the future but chooses not to act on it like the Liberals did..

But, considering the lack of leadership that all those majority LIBERAL governments showed, and understanding that these sorts of issues take time to plan for (as in YEARS), I am not going to hold Harper up as the primary villain in this farce, not when he hasn’t had the same time and resources available as the ‘honorable’ opposition had at their disposal. (I can’t believe I kept a straight face during that last bit!).

So with that in mind, most of the double standards you refer to seem to be perpetrated by the Liberals and their supporters.

This is all nothing more than the pharmaceutical companies getting their cut of the financial bailout.

The regular flu kills far more people every year, and nobody cares. Suddenly, a flu has a scary sounding name, and everyone flips out. Relax people, we're not all going to start dropping like flies. Sheesh.

Aside from the Con supporters trying to cover for their inept leader, I can't believe the misinformation going around about the flu. The medical editor writes a piece about the US getting two doses for children but here we are getting one. But when I had my son done on Sunday, they clearly told me that one dose was ineffective and he had to come back in 21 days to a clinic that was already scheduled.

Typical left hand not knowing what the right is doing, and in this case it is way more a case that the right (read Harper) doesn't know what he is doing.

Now let's hear more wailing about how Martin WAS responsible for everything that happened under him (even if he didn't know about it like the sponsorship program) but Harpo ISN'T responsible for anything that happens under his watch, like health care. The double standards of the Con supporters are ridiculous.
