QUEBEC CITY - In a rare public appearance Tuesday, former Quebec premier Lucien Bouchard criticized the Parti Quebecois and its leader Pauline Marois.
Bouchard, 71, who led the province from 1996 to 2001, accused the PQ and Marois of closed-mindedness in the ongoing debate about Quebec's identity.
"The most tragic error he ever made was accepting to negotiate with Ottawa and the rest of Canada the day after the referendum (of 1980)," added Bouchard.

Separate or not, they will still be parasites. They want an Economic Union with Canada like Europe has. Otherwise they cannot survive alone economically.

Does this man really believe the rest of Canada would stand back and accept soverinty,you want a divorce, then we divy up the anty which means all federal agency in Quebec come back to Ottawa, including museum of man you live in Quebec you work in Quebec you will need your own currency, customs at every exit point,we will take down french signs throughout Canada and billinguallism will mean french speaking englesh not englesh speaking french any more, and then Mr Ducette the rest of Canada will give the Native indians the oppetunity to seperate from Quebec and see what you have left just a bucnchof foever whinning frenchmen.

Then they brought it back it the current format.
During that time, several posters here started the Punted Posters forum.
I had the pleasure of being able to prevent the village idiot from posting it's blather.
Gordholio is now the admin there and apparently thinks twatty's contributions were of some value.
