Are you excited or concerned about the loonie? Thu, September 22, 2011
The Canadian dollar sank to its lowest point since October 2010 as a grim outlook for the U.S. economy from the Federal Reserve sent markets reeling to the safety of U.S. Treasuries and the U.S. dollar.
Hey Canofnuts. If you call one dollar a goonie what do you call a two dollar. Number two. that makes sense. Canada is all number two oh number tooney
Only in Canada eh for the goat

Why don,t you stranger than life canofnuts just stay in your land of idiots and leave us Americans alone. Just send us your resourses as you idiots are far to stupid to put them together into any real product. Go live in Russia and see if your stupid laws stand up with real people. Leave the great land of the U S A alone. You cause us nothing but grief

You are allowed $400 if your stay in the U.S. was 48 hours.

Hey stamper, your last post confirms what we believed all along, that your head has been stamped on a little too often!

So the goonie is dropping. The only reason this trinket for little girls got to where it is was because our great land of the USA was having political troubles. Nothing to do with you bunch of nuts who live in cans. Get it , canofnuts,ha fits good. Anyone who has two languages and has to speak both when talking in government has to have a few beans missing from the can.
Your goonie means nothing to us, Hope it drops off the map and then we can just walk across your so well defended border and take what resourses we need. Sticks and slingshots do nothing against our superior defences.
Get a life up there. Go chip away at an iceburg or something.

Canada wants to improve their world competiveness. Then lower the standard of living to third world levels. As long as we have people making in the hundreds of thousands per year we have to raise the price of our products to cover this. Groceries and all other commodities raise accordingly. Nothing changes except we have to sell our products to other lands at huge inflated prices to cover inflation.
If we dropped everything by 50% then we could sell everything fifty percent cheaper and many more lands could afford our products and nothing would change for Canada as everything would be the same except 50% cheaper. Yearly wage increases and Unionism is the killer of the loonie and our world markets. We are pricing ourselves out of everything and becoming quickly another of the worlds poor. just look at the usage of food banks and homeless shelters.
We are only as strong as our weakest link.

The high Canadian dollar just kills our competitiveness with US producers so the lower the better for manufacturers

Could care less what it does.

The loonie goes up and down like a toilet seat. Like a toilet seat it has various asses sitting on it, some aren't to bad at all and some are real stinkers. That is how the economy is, sometimes light and delicate and sometimes heavy and makes for a crappy life for most of us. Get use to it people it will never change.
