What are your thoughts on WikiLeaks? Wed, May 30, 2012
Britain’s Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange can be extradited to Sweden over alleged sex crimes, but gave him two weeks to seek to reopen the case.
Stupid Wikileaks supporters and hackers have now attacked Visa,Mastercard and Paypal for refusing to allow donations to their traitorous organization by DDOS(dynamic denial of service)techniques whereby they generate a nhuge numbers of false queries to the victim website and therefore overload the servers, causing them to shut down.
Dumb strategy ,since they have now exposed themselves and will be tracked by every major anti-virus maker, paid for by Visa,MC,and Paypal-and the various offended governments, who after all have far more money than Wikileaks will ever have.
Bye,bye stupid Wikileaks, stupid Assange, and stupid hackers and good riddance!

"why not go after Iran, North Korea, Sudan secrets etc... "
I guess because no soldier from those countries have hacked into the government files and downloaded them, as is/was the case where an American soldier did just that and turned the files over to Wikileaks. Wikileaks did not steal these files. They did not go after anyone. They were given the files from an American soldier.
And what the heck?
The reason we can say America is behind most of the problems in the world is because of America?
Any more questions?

If the idea of leaking so called secrets, diplomacy etc... is the goal why not go after Iran, North Korea, Sudan secrets etc...
The answer is those who have spilled the beans on those countries have been killed.
Sure Americans have created a world of back door policies but so has every other government/country.
That said those who blame America for everything wrong in our society are free to do so because of America, not the other countries above.
The need to read dirt does not help anyone. If our governments just told the truth and nothing but the truth no one would be here to talk about it.

Those of you who defend him, reflect back and think of the things you have said about family and friends that if they ever found out your relationship would be changed forever, and not for the good.

The other distances himself away because you had the tenacity to say something they didn’t want to hear. Personally I don’t see it as a loss when the later stops talking to you.
We all remember how corrupt the Chretien liberals were with their brown paper envelopes. It would have been nice to have someone from within that circle leak out the truth right from the start, but as most here would argue, government is entitled to keep all the secrets it wants if it believes it's for the better of the nation (and you’re not in touch with humanity if you believe those corrupt aholes weren’t able to convince themselves that what they were doing was for the greater good in some twisted way, 99% of the time those who do wrong find ways to validate it, welcome to the human race, this should be no surprise.)
You moan and bitch at liberal corruption yet you blast away at something trying to give people a voice against corruption.
You want to throw treason charges at someone, how about those doing the leaking ? Oh right, shoot the messenger first, then try to figure out who sent it in the first place.
On the flipside wikileaks should never publish the names of informants, that’s just bad for everyone.

Worldcitizen, 2010-12-08 04:48:07. had a bizzare comment.
So what exactly is your point? Other than your ridiculous inference that America is getting what they deserve. You are turning a blind eye to the damage to all the other countries dragged into this mess. You cannot really and truly be disputing my comment or are you just doing another random brigand/tweety like off topic swipe at the US.

He should be released, since he is being detained illegaly. He has not been charged with a crime, so let him go.

The United States of AMERRRica are already doing and have already done a good job at that. They do not need any help.

I wanna watch his execution on live TV. You just know that little leftard is shaking in his highheels with the knowledge the USA is applying sabotage and other spying charges to his arrest warrant. This is one Australian that is going to die for his leftist activities in aiding and abetting the enemy with releasing classified military information. I suppose they'll hook the Private and Assange to the same high voltage cable and fry them in public.
WCF, 2010-12-08 01:07:05
Of course Assange is an irresponsible, and dangerous person and he should be dealt with accordingly. Most of the illegal information that has been leaked is of the banal variety, but there is some information being illegally leaked that endangers a lot of lives. Assange is clearly insane and won't be around much longer. What purpose has this served other to embarrass diplomats and endanger lives. Reckless behaviour by a reckless, crusading idiot.
