What should happen to the Tamil asylum seekers? Tue, August 17, 2010
More than three dozen Tamil migrants have been segregated from 492 others who arrived by boat for questioning by police on suspicion of being linked to the Tamil Tigers, or other inadmissible groups, including war criminals.
Haven't heard anything for a while on these "refugees". Have they already been given multi-million dollar condos in downtown Toronto, recieved health cards and been enrolled in taxpayer funded university degree programs?

The solution is simple. Instead of trying to sort through a pack of lies about "oh my, oh my -I will be persecuted if I am sent back" do what is needed and send the wholoe bunch back to where they came from. If we do not it is open season for every refugee who can get on a ship to infiltrate canadian land. We have ABSOLUTELY no way of telling who they are and why they are on that illegal ship. They could say or concoct any story when their true purpose could be to slip 20 operatives into Canada while we are group hugging the other 300.
Here is a plan, give them the appropriate forms and they can fill them out on the way back to the homeland and drop them off at the Canadian consulate when they get HOME.
Quite honestly if they had the cash to buy their way onto the illegal ship they have enought cash to apply properly and give Canada some say in who enters our borders and the facts to make sure they are people we need. Beware we do not fall the same way England did with unrestricted immigration that has turned the country into a non-viable welfare state that will never recover. Stop the group hugs and start doing what is in the best interests of Canada.

There has got to be almost as many medical school graduates over there as there are torturers!

Oh, they will be "demanding" much more. Our (Trudeau's) wimp Charter of Rights and Constitution makes it possible for immigrants to reshape our country so IT SUITS THEM. They won't stop until Canada resembles the crap holes they fled.

Since they are now 'DEMANDING' schooling for the children they included their folley, I believe they should be returned quickly to their homeland/Gov so their demands can be met by their own Gov. I feel absolutely NO loyalty to a group who comes here illegally then wants to make demnads of the country blighted with their presence..go somewhere & make your demands you bunch of mooching leeches...did you not have to pull your litters out of school in order to make the gamble here? I'm not against immigrant so long they have legal papers. but there is a big problem in the refugee system please.. please don't be stupid.. if they get in. then they win.. and another load will follow trust me.. but if your not happy of what i've said bring all of them. Im sure canadian is happy to be known as safe heaven for criminals and terrorist. its pretty simple they know your laws and they got you .. seems to me that they are more smarter than the canadian individual who works in the system .and who does the canadian security system is protecting to ? I do believe that it's protecting the best interest of the canadian people in different walks of life ..who works long hours to pay tax to pay the governtment to protect and keep this country safe and going .. but it seems all they do is to take any people from any boat that landed in any part of canada is not a rocket science right..what are you really protecting to.canadian people? or you international image.. If you can pay $40000 or whatever the price was then you can dam well afford to go through legal channels. Refugess my A--.
Immigration lets them in and they turn around and send their money back to the Tigers to keep their HOMELAND going on with THEIR war. Either that, or they spend their vacations going back there. HMMMM Refugess???? Uh Uh !! Send them back and turn the rest of the boatloads around like Austalia did.

He knows EXACTLY how stupid and porous is our Immigration system. For decades we have proven that our security forces are incapable of identifying terrorists and criminals. He also knows that we have to PROVE someone is one of the above and during that time the subjects of scrutiny are free to disappear into the populace. It can take at least two years to turf anyone and often it takes decades. There is a KNOWN terrorist living in Brampton who is wanted in Italy for the hijacking of an airplane...one person was killed on the plane by the terrorists while they tried to negotiate refueling. This whacko recently applied to the Canadian Bar Association, after attending LAW school here, and was thankfully denied accreditation due to character. Yet, he remains in Canada. His method to stymie expulsion/deportation is to APPEAL, APPEAL, ad nauseum. He has been here, now, for over 15 years.

Even now that the authorities have Captain Vinod and his crew segregated from the rest of the asylum seekers he is STILL sticking to his story that there are no Tamil Tigers on board. Is he seriously trying to convince us that he is dumb to the fact that Vinod is a known Tamil Tiger and known human smuggler? He obviously has absolutely no qualms about helping to assist terrorists to take up residence in Canada, as long as they are Tamil. I think it's time for the Government to take a closer look into the Canadian Tamil Congress.
As for this Captain, if he did indeed sail the first ship as well then why wasn't he thrown in jail for smuggling then?
The conservatives are going to lose a lot of support if they don't act in the best interests of Canadians and refuse this lot of phoney refugee claiments as well as the last lot and send them back to Sri Lanka before they cost us millions in lawyer fees, or welfare.
If they are allowed to stay I forsee hundreds of thousands of Canadians taking to the streets in protest. That might be the only way to get the Governments attention.
