''He is shielded by the Conservative cloak of forgiveness so don't expect any thing to happen here.

What the heck is a '' Conservative cloak of forgiveness''
Is that like the Colgate invisible shield??? or Mrs B's imaginary brain??

"Ford Nation" is likely the only reason Dalton is still premier in Ontario.
Jay from Ottawa, 2011-10-11 11:15:38
Too much gravy within the nation

I can't rightfully respect anyone who claims they have never heard of Margaret Atwood. (Yes I know this refers to Doug, not Rob). He effectively released the literary kraken on them :P

When we make a law we need to make sure we can uphold said law.
It seems all we see today are laws but NO action to follow through. I see people texting on a daily basis and I also see sprinklers sprayin across the sidewalk. Another lawnot ever fined.
Or dogs crapping in parks. Maybe next time someone sees this Ford on the phone accidently run into him but make sure your handy camera is on his car showinghim talking on the phone. The he can pay his fine and you can pay youre.
Ron Glynn, 2011-10-06 12:06:14
Please just take the fine Rob and get this useless news story out of my face.
I see so many violations of proper driving protcol/etiquette why do we have to be subjected to thos who are caught.
Pay the damn fines, for the rest of thoes who sya, "I am not a violator" lets hear from you.
At this point, Canadian news should be how can we move forward with a little honesty and compliance.

No one should be above the law. If Mayor Ford violated the law by talking on his cell while driving he should be stopped and charged. And if the police are reluctant to do it, citizens should be empowered to do a citizen's arrest.
