I wish people would wake up and smell the coffee. You complain about all that PC has done for us and yet you vote them back in with the same lies. Liberals need to change their name, because people like to live in the past and they can't forget what they were like in ancient times. I still believe we need a NONE OF THE ABOVE on our balots. Given the option, people would be able to let our Government know, that Canadians are tired of being lied to and we need some serious changes. But thats just my opinion.

Kaner said "abortion and gay marriage are federal issues not provincial"

Exactly. So why were those dead horses drug out and beaten to death again by Wildrose opponents in a provincial election? It was a campaign about fear, about hidden agendas and the Wildrose just couldn't get back to the actual issues. Their opponents won because they successfully played the fear card and Albertans feel for it.

I've always mocked people in Ontario, who repeatedly vote for corruption over change. Today I see Albertans are no better.

We have elected a Premier who had money showing up in her bank account for doing nothing who claims to know nothing about it.

A premier whose response after finally admitting it happened was to do nothing until it was forced upon her.

Redford has a huge majority and the false belief that Albertans are happy to have her continue to steal their money while introducing guilty until proven inocent legislation.

Saddly the alternative wasn't much better.

I never thought I would ever say this but it be hard to find a wingnut that voted PC
grant hopper, 2012-04-24 10:25:55

Lets face it, the Wildrose is nothing more then Preston Manning's old reform party with a new name, it has all its assorted, racists, homophobes, Rednecks and crazies, they did him in and they did the same to Allison Smith .
Ron Cloutier, 2012-04-24 10:19:39

It is a sad day.

Albertans said it is ok to intimidate and cheat. Tell lies and play dirty tricks on their opposition. Promise billions of taxpayers money.

And get away with it.

Shame on the lefty loonies that would destroy our great province.
David Clark, 2012-04-24 09:22:00

The result didn't surprise me. There is too much inertia in Alberta for a sudden change. In my opinion the polls were biased, which backfired by helping get out the Tory vote.
