One needs a "babblefish" stuck in their ear to understand a politician...with the cretin Chretien one needed three.

RMB, when are you going to stop coming across as such a CON yourself?

Comparing Assaad to Harper?

Really? That all you got?

BTW, that's EXACTLY what your hero JC did at his town hall meetings...ignored direct questions, bluthered something incoherent and then shuffled off turning his head and calling "Next?", while completely ignoring the astonished look on the person whose question went unanswered.

post script:

Hey, so that's where you are copying your stupid "next" from.

Figures...a turd emulating a turd.

"The journalist was asking direct questions and Assad would answer as if he had asked something totally different."

That's exactlly what Harper and his CONS do. In fact most politicions never answer a question asked of them

Saw an interview with Assad last night on the BBC. What a poor excuse for a leader. The journalist was asking direct questions and Assad would answer as if he had asked something totally different. When pushed Assad said that most of the killings of innocent civilians were carried out by terrorists in military uniforms. The sooner the europeons get this guy out of power the better for all in the region, especially the poor souls within the borders of Syria.

We have enough problems in Canada. Lets deal with our own first then with the worlds issues.
Dennis, 2012-07-08 19:34:58

uplick says America is killing Syrian civillians.HUH?

You are right Larry.

Syria and Libya are different.

America has no need for Syrian oil as they export very little.

And Syria has friends the Americans dont want to tangle with.

Much easier to invade countries that cant fight back

Send canadas wonderful old hippies to syria to wag their fingers, and tell them what lazy bums they are. And ofcourse, the hippies would be honest with them, and tell them to come to canada to live in their basements for $1000 mth. Then one day, canada can be all theirs

Each stuation in the world is different. sure they have similarities when looked at in a general sense, but when you look at the countries inner politics and population you will see that it isnčt as simple as black and white in any case.

Syria is a fine example of that. In an overview it looks much like the Libyan scenario but upon closer inspection it is clear it requires action appropriate to the situation.
Redneck Larry, 2012-07-06 12:55:14

Now we have MrsB condoning the Americans killing innocent Syrian children.

Although it will deny saying so, it's right here:

And another very huge reason that the west has not interfered in the conflict within Syria is....wher did the United States send their Al Queda prisoners to be tortured as it was illegal in the U S as well as Britian.

Syria was the torture chamber for America. Maybe more real truth could rise up if the west was to get involved??
