PM Stephen Harper has a true moral compass and is an honest caring person.

We are one of very few countries that have the ability to be proud or our PM/President and his respect for the truth, fairness and the rule of law..

It has been under his steadfast guidance during the Global Economic Meltdown that PM Harper’s leadership has kept this country solvent.

The Liberals and NDP are only in it for themselves. They would sell this county out in a heartbeat to satisfy their drunken lust for power and insatiable egos…...

Harper and the Conservative administrationare hands-down better than anything the Liberals provided in the last 40 plus years. He is decisive and is making strong policies to ensure the viability of our economy. I understand that mistakes are made, but nothing compared to the last Liberal government. He is taking the country in apositive direction and is undoing some of the damage done by successive Liberal governments. He has my full support.

I am reposting a comment already posted here as this is exactly how I feel: I will take Harper and the Conservative administration, hands-down, over anything the Liberals were able to offer up in the last 50 years. Undoubtedly mistakes have been made and will continue to be made. That is human nature and happens to every government. However, I absolutely love where he is taking the country as a whole, which is undoing the deep societal damage inflicted by successive Liberal governments. It's easy to dislike the man when he is attempting to change Canada from a weak, all-talk-but-no-action, nanny-state into one with a clear will, voice, strength and identity of its own. It's much tougher to see, and comprehend, the bigger vision of where we are headed. Keep up the good work Mr. Harper.

Granted that Mr. Harper is not a very charismatic individual and there are certainly some negatives about the conserative mindset. However, the most important thing to consider is that the Canadian economy (although not great) is doing significantly better than the U.S.and Europe. If anyone thinks that would still be the case if one of the other parties was in power here, they need to wake up and smell the roses!!!

I love these Liberal / NDP people that are stuck in there ways Stephen Harper is the best by far leader this country has had in my life time i'm 53.He has put Canada on the world map again something the Liberals destroyed.People need to see a leader for who they are not what party they represent.

The Liberal media has endeavoured to demean Mr. Harper at every turn. He is a diligent, hardworking man who has the best interests of Canada at heart. We have nothing to be embarassed about with him, he is the sort of person that can be counted on in the long run, to do the right thing. Time will be the judge if given half a chance.

Best dictator that any country could ever dream to have or want. Do not appreciate his style or his policies as they go against the grain of what Canada has stood for from the beginning. That being said, and Canada Day upon us, we live in a great country, the best in the world. Too bad Mr. Harper doesn't see that!
