Former media tycoon Conrad Black has lost his bid for a hearing to decide whether he can remain an Officer of the Order of Canada, the Federal Court has ruled.
No he should be stripped of that, he's not to be held in a high accord, next thing he'll be the next PM..

The order of Canada is given as a symbol of honour and devotion to Canadian morals. Black has failed in every aspect of this and should be removed from the Country henceforth

If so, then it can't be the same Don Cherry I know of. You know, the one on Hockey Night (not)In Canada, the one that calls for fair play, stands firmly behind our troops, and disses the low hits and blind sides.
Don Cherry has ALWAYS been a proud Canadian whereas Black willingly renounced his Canadian citizenship for personal gain.
So since Black renounced Canada then screw him, he definitely does NOT deserve the order of Canada

Mr. Black is a blackeye on Canadian business.
He has learned nothing about how to treat others with respect as was demonstrated by his tirade with the British journalists.
He only knows aggression and to crush opponents not to work with them and diplomacy. That is not how Canadians work so he does not represent Canada well at all and so should not get back his Order Of Canada. He should be ordered out of Canada for good.

We seem in the midst of a ''BULLY'' tirade throughout our schools and adult population. Why would we asCanadians accept bullies and braggart and puffed shirtted gooks anywhere within our society.
Cherry , Black just to name 'TWO' need be given the old fashioned treatment that people of that sort readily deserve. Tar and feathers and pulled on a ladder by a mule to the nearest border and kicked out never to return. Then and only then will we be rid of the overpowering bullies we seem to breed and nurture within corporate Canada. Get rid of the scum and sometimes the water beneath is drinkable.
