You know if someone suggested strip searches at all public events to make us more safer there would be people who would go for it. To me that is more telling than this article. If you want to be safe get yourself some bubble wrap. Because you know there are crazy people out there. Or maybe they are in here... with us.

The metal detectors at Wonderland are a pain and useless so theaters would be no different. I would prefer a portable device used randomly in areas of high risk. I don't care if the cops target schools, malls, concerts, spot checks, housing projects, etc. If you don't have a weapon who cares as long as it eliminates guns. I also think anyone involved in weapons or drugs that receives a government subsidy is cut off forever and deported if applicable, worst case they can not sponsor others to visit Canada.

This guy makes the case for swift and public execution, when the evidence is overwhelming and irrefutable. A one day trial, parade all witnesses thru to finger the accused, declare guilt, tell the scumbag his crime is so heinous he does not get any last words, then stick him with a lethal needle, pack him onto a gurney and roll him right into a waiting crematorium. Might actually deter future kooks who rightfully believe they will spend the rest of their lives on death row, making appeal after appeal, while laughing in the face of their victim’s families. Oh, and show the public you are generating electricity from the heat of his burning corpse, to recover the cost of the needle.

Get REAL. Are we just going to start living in a bubble. Thats not the problems. Our entire system is screwed up beyond repair!! We keep looking at bandaid solutions. Its too bad he was taken alive. Now he is a showboat for the lawyers on how the system failed him. Whether or not he is mentally insane I DON'T CARE. Put him to death and the quicker the better.

A metal detector would not have stopped this nutcase. He would have just walked through and started shooting anyway. However if they ban movies period than this will not happen again, Maybe?
