Well they have cigarette packs covered in gross pictures of the harm smoking can potentially cause.

Maybe we should require junk food to have pictures of morbidly obese people on the front. Have them stating facts like, "I can't tie my own shoes", "I can't fly any airlines or go on any bus attend any concert or sport event because I can't fit in the seats".

I also think that if they need an ambulance which requires more personel to load them they should be charged extra.

Lets start by taking all junk food out of the schools.

Good one, Grimshaw!

Yes, eat this before some idiot puts a health tax on it.

People eating junk food is just one example that people, in general, take the easy way out.

Goes along with driving. People keep complaining about the price of gas yet they still buy big vehicles, drive as close as something 200 meters away, drive their kids to school when they can easily walk. Yup this is another example of how lazy society has become and not wanting to accept their own decisions. Even though we are the most educated of all time yet so many of us ignore what the experts say. This obesity problem will, if it hasn't already, surpass alcohol and tobacco as the leading killer of our society. It is certainly already taxing our medical facilities and this is all because people make choose to make bad decisions and not watch what they eat.

I personally don't feel labels make much of a difference but if they are applied people can't say they didn't know.

This coming from the bully who believes kids that are obese deserve to be ridiculed and harassed. You are no longer anonymous by the way.

Its not a 'generation' thing larry. its a feminist thing. Mother works in office to be 'fullfilled' and considers cooking opressive slavery, so landlord triples rent. and dad commits suicide. i guess it is a generation thing.

Tha fact it is called "JUNK FOOD" should say it all. Try to get the kids to wear junk clothes? No way in hell.

As for those who think they can eat in fast food restaurants as cheap as making a meal at home? A Turkey with lettuce and tomatoe sandwich on whole wheat bread with an apple is a lot cheaper than a Big Mac Meal anyday and a whole lot better for you! Best of all it tastes great.

Junk food use to be a treat for most generations up until the last one. Now instead of a treat it is a treatment parents use to get their kids out of their hair and so they don't have to cook.

Shows one of the areas of our society that needs a change.

Junk food junkies deserve the same wrath that other junkies receive. There is no real difference from the high one receives from pot or ciggaretes or any other item that people crave.

Tax junk food the same as booze or tobacco or better yet begin charging anyone with a weight related disease the full amount of the health care they seem to have so occured by their gorging unhealthy ways.

Right wingers still dont like having to put on a seat belt by law. Buc says it is a stupid expensive idea to put a warning on junk food. it is not stupid or expensive. It has been proven right wingers cant think for themselves so they need to be told junk food is not good
