Russ says, "today we cannot protect against much of this radiation..." Well maybe Harper can't do the impossible, but maybe Justin can accomplish that once the dope is legalized. So how does Harper's denial of science affect the perceived threat that "we cannot protect against". We know that O2C, or CO2 is mostly oxygen, let's just call it oxygen for short, does not correlate with climate, so how is Harper denying science? Harper is science. Just call me George. BYW, legalizing grass might be a good idea. However many good ideas don't turn out that way in hindsight.

??? Harpers denial of science ???

Russ, you must be following RMB's twitty logic if you made the jump from microwave experiments to Harper.
The Crusher, 2013-06-17 15:07:30

The Crusher,

Yes, very true. Seems Harper's denial of science started ages ago.

Cosmic rays are one problem -- these are actually highly charged particles that have cause white flashes to be seen by astronauts and have damaged visors etc. Then there are gamma rays that are very powerful outside of Earth's protection and various forms of radiation from our Sun. Today we cannot protect against much of this radiation outside the magnetic belts protecting our Earth.

ron:

Perhaps you'd better do a bit more effort into the hazards of travel to Mars and not even considering attempting survival on Mars.

It is not at all like the crossing of the Atlantic ocean. So sorry.
Russ, 2013-06-15 12:39:52

No. First the radiation problem of going there is likely to kill with a variety of cancers and birth defects.

The planet itself provides no protection from radiation and, right now, the survivability is very, very low.

No trees, no forests, no days at the park!

This is music to trolls.

Only if Trudeau or Mulcair become prime minister.

NTD made ONE comment regarding microwaves and gamma rays.

You RMB, have been posting that same mocking comment directed at NTD about CPP and OAP for months, if not years now, posting off topic in multiple topics.

Most would consider that bullying, in the least very immature and annoying behaviour.
The Crusher, 2013-05-17 12:43:55

dadda makes fun of someone who he claims doesnt know the diff between micro and gamma waves. But yet dad said the CPP and the OAP was the same thing
