TORONTO -- A Toronto man who allegedly abducted a woman's three-year-old daughter to force her mom to work as a prostitute will appear in court today.

Toronto Police said last night they have located the child and she is now in the care of the Children's Aid Society.

Cops arrested Tyrone Dillon early yesterday morning slapping him with 10 charges including procuring a person to become a prostitute, exercising control, procuring illicit sex and living off the avails of prostitution.

He is scheduled to appear in 1000 Finch Ave. West court today.

Police had few details last night but confirmed the woman originally asked the man to watch the child.

He took the youngster to a babysitter and refused to tell the mother where she was, police said.

Investigators allege the accused used the three-year-old as leverage to coerce her mother into working for him as a prostitute.

The man used the girl to keep the woman from fleeing or calling police.

When the woman tried to leave, he assaulted her, police said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 416-808-3105, Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS or online at 222tips.com.
