Child allegedly assaulted by HIV-postive man
By CHRIS DOUCETTE, SUN MEDIA

James Junior Udokang. (Peel Regional Police handout)

An HIV-positive Brampton man is accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Peel police claim the 32-year-old has known for about five years that he is HIV-positive. He has also allegedly had "intimate contact" with adult women during that time frame without revealing he was infected with the deadly virus.

Police have not released the child's age, gender or health status. They will only say at this point that the alleged victim was known to the accused.

James Junior Udokang was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual interference.

Anyone who has had intimate contact with the accused should call investigators immediately at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460, and seek medical attention.
