Two male inmates have escaped from Bowden Institution.

A search was conducted at about 10 p.m. Monday after staff determined that Nathan Mario Paolinelli and Tod James Purvis had slipped away from the institution's minimum-security annex.

Paolinelli, 28, is described as having brown hair, brown eyes, five-foot-10 and 211 pounds.

Purvis, 42, is described as having blond hair but is partially bald, blue eyes, five-foot-11 and 169 pounds with tattoos on his back, left arm and chest.
