LONDON, Ont. -- A London man pleaded guilty Monday to 10 charges, including three counts of impaired driving causing death, for a March 2009 crash that killed two young boys and a 26-year-old man.
Andrew Kummer, 26, entered his guilty pleas at London courthouse as family and friends of the three victims watched.
Kummer was driving a pickup truck that collided with another pickup at the intersection of Longwoods Rd. and Westdel Bourne near Lambeth at about 10:30 p.m. on March 13, 2009.
Jason Berube, his son Mason, 13, and Mason's best friend Devon Titus, 12, were in the second pickup. They were returning to their Chatham-area homes after watching a London Knights game.
Mason Berube and Titus were killed in the crash. Jason Berube suffered serious injuries.
Kummer and two other men were in the other pickup. One man, 26-year-old David Marshall, was killed. Kummer and the third man, who wasn't identified by police at the time of the crash, were injured.

Along with the three counts of impaired driving causing death, Kummer pleaded guilty to three counts of dangerous driving causing death, two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Kummer will be sentenced at date to be determined.
