Teen sex slave plot foiled

MONTREAL – A Montreal husband and father will not go to jail for luring a teenager to his home, filming himself having sex with her and then threatening to post the clips to the Internet unless she became his sex slave.

Quebec court judge Pierre Labelle sentenced Francois Auclair, 30, to 200 hours of community service and three years’ probation for the sex scheme, in which he lured an 18-year-old girl using the popular classified website Kijiji.

Auclair, who is married with a two-year-old child, admitted to the sordid fraud last week and pleaded guilty to extortion.

The court heard that Auclair posted the Kijiji ad in March, 2009. The victim, who cannot be identified, answered the posting in which Auclair falsely claimed the girl could star in a French porn film if she agreed to take part in videotaped tryouts.

He later admitted to taping at least seven sexual encounters with the victim after promising the girl that she would be paid $7,000.

In May, 2009, Auclair told the girl that she would not get the part and would not receive any money, either. He contacted her again by email the following December, threatening to post all of the clips online unless she met him at a motel to work as his sex slave. She refused, and instead called police.

Officers later raided Auclair’s home, seized his computer and arrested him.
