Bullet hits car during rush hour in Ontario
By Rob Lamberti, QMI Agency

TORONTO — A pickup truck driving on a Hwy. 401 ramp in Courtice was hit by a bullet during Wednesday's afternoon rush hour.

Durham Regional Police said the Oshawa man was on the ramp to the westbound lanes at Courtice Rd. at 5:15 p.m. when he heard a bang and felt his truck shake.

Police said he continued on to Oshawa but when he got out of the truck, he saw a bullet hole in the passenger-side door.

The bullet hit the door near a hinge, police said.

The driver was the only person in the truck at the time and wasn't physically injured.

Police searched the area where the shot was believed to have been fired but nothing was located.

Police said it appears the victim was targeted.
