Yes, all strikes are always stupid.
No, the feds should butt out of labour negotiations.
Not yet. But if they don't reach a deal soon...

Ontario pair sorry for stealing from cops
By Neil Bowen, QMI Agency

SARNIA, Ont. - Two friends earned themselves a year's probation after a drunken birthday celebration ended with the pair breaking into a police station garage.

Court heard Friday the two 22-year-old men had been drinking in celebration of their birthdays that are only a few days apart, when they came upon an open police cruiser outside the Point Edward OPP station near Sarnia, Ont.

After riffling through the cruiser, the men found a control that opened the station’s garage door.

Court heard they stole items from the cruiser and the garage, including prescription sunglasses, a personal cell phone, an OPP winter jacket and a breath-test device.

“They had way too much to drink and got stupid ... but they were smart enough not to drive,” said defence lawyer Robert McFadden.

Both men have written apology letters to the OPP.
