Murder charge after youth dies at party
By QMI Agency

New Brunswick RCMP have charged a 63-year-old man with second-degree murder after an 18-year-old man died at a party early Friday morning.

Police received a 911 call at about 5 a.m. after Michael Alexandre McGraw, of Saint-Isidore, N.B., died “during an altercation at a party he was attending with friends,” Acadian Peninsula RCMP said in a release.

The party was in Pointe-a-Tom, a community on the northeast coast of the province near Tracadie-Sheila.

Aldin McLauglin, 63, of Pointe-a-Tom appeared in provincial court to face a second-degree murder charge Monday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 12.
