By Rob Lamberti, QMI Agency

TORONTO — Police are hunting for a gunman after a passenger in a car was shot in the head near the Ontario Science Centre during Tuesday's afternoon rush hour.

The man, 21, remains in critical condition following the shooting near Don Mills Rd. and Rochefort Dr., south of Eglinton Ave.

Police said the suspect approached the car, pulled out a handgun and opened fire.

A number of shots hit the passenger side of the car, hitting the passenger in the head, police said.

The suspect is described as black, 5-foot-7, about 20 years old, with a skinny build. Police said the suspect wore blue jeans and no shirt.
