VANCOUVER -- All five Richmond, B.C., dial-a-dope ring suspects -- including Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson’s former foster son -- have been taken into police custody, officials said Thursday.

Jinagh Navas-Rivas, 21, surrendered to police in Richmond after being confronted by Mounties around 2 p.m. at an “undisclosed” location, RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen said.

Navas-Rivas was in Robertson’s foster care for two years leading up to the summer of 2009 and is now on his own.

According to Crown prosecutor Ernie Froess, Navas-Rivas’ alleged criminal brother-in-arms, Vinh Hoang David Le, 25, turned himself earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, two men co-accused in the dope ring made their first appearances at Richmond court the same day. Charged with one count of trafficking cocaine is Willie Sing Cheung Truong, 23, while Leslie James Miller, 29, is charged with three gun-related charges.

The fifth member of the group, Raymond Kwok Pui Ma, 47, turned himself in Wednesday. He is charged with one count of trafficking cocaine, but has yet to appear in court.

The charges follow a RCMP bust announced in December, initially targeting a cocaine drug-dealing phone line.

Three handguns and ammunition, 15 ounces of cocaine, one pound of marijuana, vials of steroids and smaller amounts of MDMA were seized.

Four of the accused voluntarily surrendered to police, while Miller was the only one arrested.

Thiessen said surrendering was “the right thing” in a statement. He added the investigation was not over and police were continuing to search for up to three other suspects involved in the same case.
