By QMI Agency
WINDSOR, Ont. - Two dismembered bodies, along with body parts that may belong to them, were pulled from the Detroit River Tuesday.
Two torsos -- believed to be one male and one female -- were found floating in the river, their hands, feet and heads missing.
A border guard on routine patrol discovered the first body around 6:30 a.m., and the Coast Guard came across the second body as they were responding to the first, reported the Detroit Free Press.
A fisherman later spotted a white leg with polished toenails, two other white legs and a cordless circular saw at the river's edge, according to the report.
The bodies have been taken to the medical examiner's office to confirm the genders of the victims and try to establish the cause of death.
Police have not released any further details.
