VANCOUVER - A city man has pleaded guilty to taking part in a riot and break and enter following the 2011 Stanley Cup riot.
Julian Eiers will be sentenced in January.
Lawyer Mark Rowan said his client was deeply remorseful for participating in the June 15, 2011, riot and felt he let his family down.
He added Eiers is working full time and is set to attend a post-secondary institution in the fall.
Rowan, who has viewed footage featuring his client, wouldnít describe exactly what the North Vancouver man did during the mayhem. He added Eiersí actions ranked on the very low end of crimes that occurred.
Sentencing for rioter Luke Patillo, 20, meanwhile, is scheduled in Vancouver Friday afternoon for his role in the riot.
The Richmond man broke into a London Drugs outlet to steal items. He was also seen trying to tip over a vehicle.
Camille Cacnio, who pleaded guilty in April to break-and-enter and taking part in a riot, is set to face a pre-sentence report in court Friday.
The 23-year-old from Richmond drew criticism following a blog post where she briefly apologized for her actions before telling readers in great detail why she didnít deserve the backlash she was facing.
