Man allegedly counselled woman to kill herself
By QMI Agency

Kenneth Carr, 53, has been charged with counselling to commit suicide, police said in a release Mon., Oct. 1, 2012. (Abbotsford police/HO)

A B.C. man has been charged with counselling a depressed woman to commit suicide.

Police said charges were laid after a family member brought an injured woman with "apparent ligature marks on her neck" to the Abbotsford police station late last week.

The woman in her 40s is known to suffer from depression.

Police executed a search warrant at the Abbotsford home of Kenneth Carr, 53, and later arrested him. Abbotsford is located about 75 km southeast of Vancouver.

Investigators said they believe there may be more victims who may have been counselled to kill themselves, and ask them to contact police.
