EDMONTON — A man accused of shooting two Mounties near Killam, Alta., will face a bail review hearing on Oct. 30.
Sawyer Clarke Robison, 27, who was the subject of an intensive manhunt in February after two Killam RCMP officers were shot, remains free on bail until the hearing.
A preliminary hearing on the case is set for Dec. 3.
Robison, who was granted bail in June, is accused of shooting two RCMP officers after a police search of his uncle Brad Clarke's home went awry.
Two officers — Const. Sheldon Shah and Const. Sidney Gaudette — were shot in the torso and were taken to hospital. They have since recovered.
Clarke was found dead in the home from gunshot wounds after the shootout.
Robison faces 15 charges, including two counts of attempted murder.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and in April was denied bail. He successfully appealed that decision and was released on $100,000 bail.
