TORONTO — A man who allegedly posed as a door-to-door salesman before sexually assaulting two women at knifepoint in a north-end home turned himself in to police early Wednesday.

A day earlier, police released clear images of the suspect

captured on a bus security camera.

Police had previously released a 15-second surveillance video clip of the suspect, in which he's seen carrying a bag and some pieces of paper as he walks up to the home where police say the assaults occurred.

The women, ages 25 and 30, told police the man had posed as a newspaper salesman before forcing himself into the home.

He apparently suffered a torso wound during the struggle.

Police haven't said what, if any charges, have been laid.
