OTTAWA — A 51-year-old man was acquitted Thursday of dangerous driving causing the death of federal Liberal aide Mario Lague.

Judge Paul Lalonde found that Giuseppe Oppedisano's negligence was "not at the level where a penal sanction should be imposed.
