Man faces fraud charges after promising modelling jobs: Cops

Saroor Hassan Zaidi, 36, who is also known as Mike Hertz, Mike Hertzberg, Uzi Goldstein and Uzi Xaidi, faces a slew of fraud charges for operating two allegedly bogus modelling agencies, Goldstein Modeling and Acting and Casting Toronto, in Mississauga.

A 36-year-old Mississauga man faces a slew of fraud charges for allegedly bilking more than a dozen clients out of tens of thousands of dollars with promises of nonexistent acting and modelling jobs, Toronto Police said Thursday.

The accused operated two business, Goldstein Modelling and Acting as well as Casting Toronto, in Mississauga that sought out potential models and actors, police said.

The financial crimes unit, with help from Peel Regional Police, began investigating after receiving complaints from 15 alleged victims.
