Stolen toys returned to Salvation Army
By MARYAM SHAH, QMI Agency
TORONTO - All of the toys stolen from the Salvation Army and seized last week by Toronto Police were returned to the charity’s Railside Rd. warehouse Friday. “All property we seized that belonged to Salvation Army has now been returned to them and they are free to distribute it as they see fit,” Det.-Sgt. Jim Gotell said Friday. Two days of unloading and counting storage bins in five trailers full of stolen goods — including 3,843 toys, as well as food, bedding, and strollers — left Det. Robert Strain exhausted yet satisfied. |
