Man accused of trying to murder sleeping priests
By Chris Doucette, QMI Agency

TORONTO — A Vaughan, Ont., man is accused of trying to kill a group of priests as they slept in a downtown Toronto home.

Police say officers responded to a break-and-enter call early Monday and nabbed a suspect nearby.

"It's alleged a man went to the address in the early morning hours and dispensed propane gas into the home while four people were sleeping inside," Const. Tony Vella said Tuesday.

"All four occupants of the house were priests."
