MONTREAL — Quebec provincial police arrested a Montreal bureaucrat Thursday for allegedly lying to a public inquiry about bribes paid by contractors. Construction-site supervisor Francois Theriault, on suspension since October, was picked up at his home in suburban Laval. The 54-year-old faces charges including perjury and obstruction of justice related to testimony he gave on Nov. 15 at the Charbonneau commission. |
