OTTAWA - A police sergeant accused of sexually assaulting a female prisoner by snipping off her shirt and bra won’t be telling his side of the story.

“The defence elects to call no evidence,” Sgt. Steven Desjourdy’s lawyer Michael Edelson told the judge hearing his trial Friday.

Judge Tim Lipson will now hear final arguments Feb. 12 and 13.
