Dad attacked girl who spurned son's advances

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. -- A 47-year-old man who confronted a teenage girl at his son’s high school received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to assault.

David Guy was given a suspended sentence and placed on probation for one year.

During May and June, Guy’s 17-year-old son had been exchanging text messages with a classmate, court heard.
