LONDON, Ont. — Details of a massive police swoop down across southern Ontario, involving 21 co-ordinated raids that netted cash, weapons and drugs, will be revealed Thursday by Waterloo regional police.

Just after 6 a.m. Wednesday police forces from Waterloo, Ontario Provincial Police, Guelph, Halton, Hamilton, Kingston and Toronto searched homes in Bruce County, Grey County, Kingston, Toronto, Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

Numerous suspects were arrested and are facing charges, police said.

Investigators seized stolen property, drugs, cash, guns and explosives.

More information will be released Thursday at 2 p.m. when Waterloo police hold a news conference at their Cambridge headquarters.
