LONDON, Ont. — One of two people accused of torturing a woman with cerebral palsy was beaten by fellow inmates at a London jail this morning.

“Mr. Rick was beaten by some of the other inmates and has been transported to hospital,” Antin Jaremchuk, his defence lawyer told Justice Lynne Leitch.

Leitch agreed to postpone the trial until Friday.
