Woman admits helping clean up murder

SAULT STE. MARIE, ONT. - Jaclyn MacIntyre, 22, admitted Monday she was one of the people who left a downtown house party to purchase cleaning supplies after Wesley Hallam was murdered and dismembered.

MacIntyre also permitted her vehicle to be used to remove the 29-year-old man's remains from the home.

She said she also helped load pieces of furniture from the house into a van so police wouldn't find them.

These actions “were done deliberately to eliminate evidence and interfere with any subsequent police investigation,” Crown attorney Paul McDermott said.
