WINNIPEG - The entire Winnipeg chapter of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club is behind bars, the RCMP declared Thursday.

Police said 11 people, including five members of the Rock Machine, have been charged with drug and firearms offences.

"As a result, Winnipeg streets are safer today," RCMP assistant commissioner Kevin Brousseau said.

Police said officers arrested some of the suspects Wednesday during a takedown on Wall St., where explosives were found.
