VANCOUVER - A city man is scheduled to appear in court Monday after being charged in a stabbing melee that left seven people injured — six of whom were rushed to hospital with significant injuries — in the city’s quiet west end.

Jerome Bonneric, 33, is facing a dozen charges related to Thursday’s attacks inside an apartment building on Barclay Street, including four counts of aggravated assault and one count of assaulting a police officer.

An ex-colleague of Bonneric’s confirmed he formally worked at Les Croissants d'Olivier in Port Coquitlam, B.C.
