OTTAWA -- A 56-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning, accused of murdering two women.

Police Supt. Tyrus Cameron confirmed cops have a man in custody in relation to two deaths in what police have referred to as a case of a prostitute predator and murders in the city that go back two decades.

Marc Leduc, already in custody on charges related to an alleged sexual assault in November, faces two counts of first-degree murder his lawyer Ian Carter said Wednesday.

He was arrested Wednesday morning and is scheduled to appear in court at 9:30 a.m.
