MONTREAL - Josee Boiclair can't forget the horrific images of child pornography she recently saw on Twitter, including a naked 10-year old girl on her knees in front of a man and a teenage boy being sodomized.

"This is terrible since there are lots of pictures and explicit photos," the young mother of two said.

QMI Agency's investigative broadcast unit, J.E., viewed hundreds of Twitter accounts featuring images that were just as revolting. All of the users were registered under pseudonyms.

Boisclair reported the child abuse to San Francisco-based Twitter and started a chain-tweet alarm.

"Everyone writes 'pedophile alert'," she said. "After all, our children have access to this material, especially since it's free."

Twitter didn't respond to QMI Agency's request for an interview, but the firm responded via e-mail.

"Twitter does not tolerate child pornography," the statement said. "When we are made aware of pornography sites involving children, we remove them without warning."
