Man wanted in brazen Toronto shooting arrested in Greece
By Chris Doucette, QMI Agency

Rabih Alkhalil, 25, of no fixed address, is accused of planning John Raposo's murder.

TORONTO - A man wanted in last summer’s brazen, Mob-style execution of Johnnie Raposo in Little Italy has been nabbed overseas.

Rabih “Robby” Alkhalil was arrested in Greece, Toronto Police said Friday.

Two men with suspected connections to a major drug-trafficking ring were arrested for allegedly hiring Dean Wiwchar, 26, the gunmen charged with first-degree murder a week after Raposo’s June 18, 2012, slaying, police said on Feb. 20.

At that time, investigators also announced Alkhalil was still sought for his alleged role in the planning of the 35-year-old’s murder.

Authorities in Europe finally caught up with the wanted man last Saturday.
